You’re A Badass – 5 Ways to Step Into Your Personal Power

The truth is, you’re a badass.

You think I’m kidding… I’m not.

Within you lies unlimited potential that’s waiting to be found.

The problem is, there’s a little voice inside your head that hasn’t quite got the memo.

You know what I’m talking about…

The voice that says, “I don’t have enough ______ yet.”  “Maybe I’ll start when ______ happens.”  “This time next year, then I’ll be ready.”

 

I call bullshit.

 

That voice… the one that’s holding you back from reaching your highest potential, it’s time to put that bad boy bed. He’s played the game with you for way too long, and now it’s time to take your power back.

The question is… Are you ready?

 

 

Are you ready to stop making excuses and truly step into your Personal Power?

At the end of the day, the only thing getting in the way of you stepping into you unlimited potential, is you.

 

It’s not your current situation, it’s not the body you were born into, it’s not the time of year… it’s you.

 

Right now, some of you are already making excuses. Some of you are already giving into that disempowering voice that’s got you by the ear. Regardless of the story you choose to tell yourself, right now, in this very moment, you have a choice.

You either choose to listen to it and continue to repeat the same old story you’ve been playing for the last however many years, or you choose something different. You choose to say, “Enough is enough, right now, I’m choosing to step into my power. I am enough, I am more than enough.”

 

This my friends is the first way you can begin to step into your personal power.

1.) Choose A Different Story

 

There’s a script being played in your head, and you may not have been aware of it until now, but the person that’s been narrating it this whole time, is you. Each day you wake up, you have a choice; you can choose to create, think and speak words that empower you, or you can choose to do the opposite. The story you tell yourself creates the reality which you perceive to be true. The key to changing your life, lies in your story.

 

2.) Stop Making Excuses

 

Regardless of where you are now, the only thing holding you back from where you are and where you desire to be in this life, is you. You may not have consciously chosen the family you were born into, the life you were handed or the body you were given, and right now in this moment and every moment after, you have a choice. You can continue to make excuses, blaming any discontentment on everything and everyone else around you, or you can chose to do the opposite. You can choose to stop making excuses and start taking action.

3.) Take Action

 

Here’s the equation:  Intention + Action = Manifestation.

It’s that simple. Don’t believe me? Try it. You’ll be suprised by the results.

4.) Accept Responsibility

 

Ever heard the saying, “It takes two to tango?” Well, you are an active participant in the creation of your life. If you are not where you want to be, it’s time to take responsibility for the part you’ve played up until now, and use this moment to reflect on what you can do differently.

5.) Have Compassion

 

Be easy on yourself. No one gave you a road map and said, “Hey buddy, here’s how you do life, have fun!” If only it were that simple. It’s kind of like we’re one big experiment just trying things out to see what works.

And at the root of it all, we don’t know. As much as our minds take comfort in believing in the the story that we do know, we don’t, and really, there is nothing wrong with that. Maybe you took some left turns when it would have been easier to go right, so what? No big deal. Where you are right now is perfect. Who you are right now, is perfect. What you choose to do with this knowledge, is perfect. Be easy on yourself, take it one day at a time and remember… You are a badass.
